The first duck to finish wins! The Inaugural Lazy River Duck Race will be at Turquoise Place on March 3, 2018 in conjunction with the Race to the Top of the Tower. Ducks can be purchased for only $5 per duck and if you own the winning duck, you split the proceeds with the Miracle League of Coastal Alabama. This fundraiser is going to help the Alabama Gulf Coast build a park that provides an atmosphere that benefits everyone regardless of physical or mental limitations.
The Race to the Top starts at 10 a.m. and the Lazy River Duck Race begins at noon. The race course will be one lap around the Lazy River and all ducks entered will be provided by and remain the property of Spectrum Resorts. Once the ducks are in the Lazy River, the race is on and no interference with any duck is permitted. Each duck will have a number and each duck will be numbered at random. The winner will be announced at the conclusion of the Duck Race and the winner will be notified by phone and email.
